Both versions have an IP68 dust protection rating and are waterproof, and both have 4GB of storage and 512MB of RAM. They are powered by a 1 GHz Exynos dual-core processor. Samsung promises 2-3 days of 300mAh battery life.
When it comes to sensors, there is an accelerometer, a gyroscope, a heart rate monitor, an ambient light reader, and a barometer. Samsung wanted to underline the sports capabilities of the devices that will include both S Health and Nike + Running.
